Maleficence of Dhysral spell: (Uncommon Cleric Level 15 Prayer) Syntax: cast 'maleficence of Dhysral' Syntax: cast 'maleficence of Dhysral' Dark prayers call upon Dhyral the mighty, Whisperer in Darkness, for madening inspirations for the target character. As ever, if no target is specified, the spell targets the caster. This spell improves the to-hit roll and saving throw versus spell of the target character by +1, each. If no target character is specified, this spell targets the caster. (Min Mana = 15) This spell can also now be cast upon an item in your inventory, which will remain affected for some time (renting, dying, or otherwise leaving the game will end this duration). Affected objects do not yet possess any special qualities affecting actual game play. The only differences between this spell and 'Bless' remain purely cosmetic (roleplaying) ones. Of course, this uncommon prayer is taught at the temple of Dhysral northeast of Dakron Bae, as Memnoch discovered when it was quested in on Halloween 2002. Rumors suggest it may also be taught elsewhere.... The bonuses from Maleficence of Dhysral do not stack with bonuses from the clerical lord prayers Divine Might, Elemental Fury, or Fell Aura. Maleficence's bonuses are better, by the time the caster is of a level to cast those clerical lord spells, and are used instead of their to-hit and saving throw bonuses; those three clerical lord level spells offer a broader assortment of bonuses than does Maleficence, however.
